In 2014, Parkside acquired a vacant 4 acre site located at 5134 Peachtree Road in Chamblee from General Electric Company. After successfully completing the process to have the site designated as a Brownfield, Parkside sold the property to St Joseph / Mercy Care. Parkside then provided development management services to Mercy Care, assisting in the design, project entitlement, zoning, site subdivision and other functions necessary to start construction. The project features a 50,000 SF medical facility and a 65 units of affordable housing. The project received a 2019 ULI Award for Excellence in Design.
